ROBBIE MADDISON JUMPS 378 FEET WITH VP IN HIS TANK!
For those who thought that Robbie Maddison couldn't top his jumps at the Corinth Canal, the Arc de Triomphe in Vegas, or the London Bridge...the Maddo proved you wrong once again.
Although the talented Aussie didn't break his world record for distance jumped on a motorcycle during the live Red Bull "New Year. No Limits." event, he unofficially did so during a practice jump where he soared 392 feet with VP's MR-PRO6 in his tank!
The live 378 foot jump completed by Maddison was done tandem-style with snowmobile pro Levi LaVallee on Maddo's right side. LaVallee crushed his own world record by over 50 feet by launching his snowmobile 412 feet.
Maddison was in good spirits despite not breaking the record during the live event.
"I would have liked to have gone further, but I am just happy to have landed safely on the other side," Maddison said. "There was a lot of pressure and to be able to live to do this again feels great. I'm at a point where I need to make changes to my bike and I'm going to have to find a gnarlier gap to jump over."
