AUCTION OF VP’S AUTOGRAPHED PINK MOTORSPORT CONTAINER NETS $2,000!
Proceeds Benefit the Prevent Cancer Foundation; Winner Scores NHRA Package
VP Racing Fuels today announced a winning bid of $2,000 for its “Special Edition” Pink Motorsports Container ™ autographed by NHRA drivers Courtney Force, Erica Enders and Alexis DeJoria. The winning bidder is Ray Ables, President of Pace Oilfield Services, Inc. and avid NHRA fan. In addition to the container, he’ll receive two tickets to a 2013 NHRA National event and an opportunity to meet and be photographed with the three drivers. See the container signing below:
Ables’ bid will be donated in its entirety to the Prevent Cancer Foundation for its cancer prevention research, education and community outreach programs. Ables also has committed to hold the autographed container only until the next auction scheduled by DRAW (Drag Racing Association of Women) in 2013, at which point he will donate the container to benefit that organization as well.
“We really appreciate Ray’s spirit of generosity,” said Alan Cerwick, President of VP Racing Fuels. “Since we first introduced these pink containers in October, we’ve been donating a portion of the sale proceeds to the Prevent Cancer Foundation and Ray’s winning bid is a great bonus for its programs . We’re also thankful for Erica, Alexis and Courtney and the NHRA for their support of our auction. ”
