STRONGHOLD MOTORSPORTS CAPTURES A PRO2 WIN WITH NEW DRIVER, BRYCE MENZIES
Bryce Menzies was brought onto the Stronghold Motorsports team just one race weekend ago and he is already proving that he belongs in the driver seat. Bryce qualified the #70 Loctite/Stronghold in the 4th starting position for round 9 and in 6th for round 10. 18 Pro-2's would be the final race of the night and round 9 was a round of racing that fans, teams and drivers will talk about for the rest of the season.
Marty Hart started on the pole and would lead the race after the green flag flew. But it would be Bryce Menzies, fueled by VP Racing Fuels, who placed the Loctite/Stronghold Pro2 in the 2nd position immediately when the race started back up again after a full course caution. Bryce would go on the outside of turn two and pass Renezeder and Woods to take over 2nd. From there, Bryce nipped on the rear bumper of Hart.
Numerous full course cautions would bring just as many restarts that would fall hard on the leaders. Every restart was an opportunity for Bryce to take over the lead. It would be the final restart of the race where Bryce capitalized on the weakness of Hart and made the pass for 1st in turn four. A clean pass and racing to the checkered would bring the Loctite/Stronghold team their first Pro-2 win of the year. The team and driver celebrated their well deserved win and they were ready to try for it again in round 10.
