VP RACING FUELS TO SPONSOR EUROPEAN DRIFTING CHAMPION DANIELLE MURPHY
VP Fuel and Lubricants to Power Quest to Repeat as Queen of Europe
SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 20, 2016) Officials with VP Racing Fuels, Inc. today announced its sponsorship of Danielle Murphy, a.k.a. the Drift Queen, for the 2016 season. Winner of the European Drifting Championship last year and in 2013, Murphy will be powered by VP’s C16 racing fuel in her quest to repeat as “Queen of Europe” in 2016. She’ll also be using VP Racing Lubricants to protect her engine.
"Being associated with the hugely popular VP Racing Fuels brand is such an honour for me,” said Murphy. “I am really looking forward to a great partnership this season and working together as I add VP’s first European Drift Championship title to the long list of successes they hold.
“With the new power setup for my car -- famously known as "The Green Monster" -- I am really excited and look forward to rocking the European market and competitions this season with VP Racing Fuels!"
“We couldn’t be more pleased to partner with Danielle as she attempts to add to her already impressive list of accomplishments,” said Chris Wall, VP’s Chief Marketing Officer. “Having a driver of Danielle’s caliber put her trust in our products speaks volumes about VP’s commitment to quality and performance.”
For many years, VP’s C16 has been the fuel of choice for top drivers with high compression turbocharged engines, blown engines and nitrous applications. New VP Racing Oils (10w40, 5w30, 15w50) are engineered specifically for racing or high performance using a fully synthetic low-friction formula that increases power and lowers operating temperatures, while VP Racing Break-In Engine Oil (10w40) is formulated to provide ultimate protection for cams and valvetrain during the initial break-in phase.
