CRANDON, WI (SEPTEMBER 3, 2011) The only thing faster than the approaching storm clouds at Crandon International Raceway this weekend was Adrian Cenni's safety orange Ford, which wrapped missile-like laps around the Crandon track, topping local favorite Johnny Greaves and Ricky Johnson, who were all burning VP LATE MODEL PLUS in a dash for the finish.

With Greaves leading the race and running strong, the competition yellow flew and regrouped Cenni and Johnson, along with Kyle Leduc. The four off-road greats left the rest of the pack in a competition train, only to have Cenni bring the Wisconsin crowd to its feet as he took the outside line and maneuvered into the top spot (in front of Greaves).

"In some weird way I liked chasing him," said Greaves. "And I'm kinda proud of him."

Cenni, who scored his first career TORC PRO 4 win at Crandon on Friday, was again pumped with his team's effort on Saturday at the legendary short course off-road track: "We had some contact and I did my best to get around Greaves clean ... my team did such a great job today. I'm really, really proud of them."

Racing back to the checkers Johnson was right on Greaves, but not in a position to pass - so he held onto 3rd. Fourth place went to Leduc while Mark Jenkins and Steve Barlow came together right at the finish line, bringing a thundering close to TORC's Saturday at Crandon.

For the PRO 2 class on Friday at Crandon, Bryce Menzies took advantage of Jeff Kincaid’s mechanical malfunction late in the race to record his 3rd win of the season with a hard-charging effort at the track where he holds the class fastest lap record.

"I can't thank my team enough for setting this truck up - it ran as good today as it did earlier in the year at Crandon when we set the track record," said Menzies. "Was hoping Jeff and I could give the fans a great show with run to the end, but he ran into some trouble and that pretty much wrapped things up for us."

For a short while, it looked like a rematch involving Menzies vs. Chad Hord for 2nd place, but Hord just didn't have enough for the PRO 2 points leader as Menzies maintained a consistent 1.5 to 2-second lead on the Michigan local.
