LASALLE, IL (JULY 13, 2011) Mike Harrison keeps dominating the field of contenders in the Summit Racing Dirt Modified Series. His last stop was Wednesday night at LaSalle Speedway.

In Illinois, Harrison, fueled by VP113, fought to take the lead from fellow front row starter and Lincoln Speedway Modified Nationals winner Ray Bollinger over the first half of the 30-lap main event before taking command on lap 16. Harrison led the rest of the distance to claim his EIGHTH win of the 2011 tour, putting a quick $1,000 in his pocket.  Bollinger settled for second.

Just three days prior, Harrison left drivers shaking their heads at Tri-State Speedway in Indiana. There, he made easy work of scoring his seventh win in the series. All of Harrison’s success this season has placed him in the lead of the Summit Racing Equipment Modified National Series by 227 markers & 243 points. Second best is Mckay Wenger of Illinois.
