JASON LINE TAKES ONE FOR THE TEAM...A WIN THAT IS.

KENT, WA (AUGUST 7, 2011) Jason Line outdueled his teammate Greg Anderson Sunday night to win his fourth NHRA Pro Stock victory of the 2011 season on VP’s C25.

Line finished the quarter-mile race in 6.553 seconds with a top speed of 210.87 miles per hour compared to Anderson's 6.587 seconds and 211.13 miles per hour.

The win is Line's fourth of the 2011 NHRA season and puts him back on top of the Full Throttle Championship standings.

“Today was just a great day for the entire Summit Racing team," Line said. “All weekend long, my team gave me an awesome car to drive, and I came into Sunday feeling that if I did my job and didn’t screw things up, we’d be standing in the winner’s circle at the end of the day, and that is exactly what happened."

Next up for the NHRA series is the 30th annual Lucas Oil Nationals at the Brainerd International Raceway from August 18-21.
