Racers from all over the globe converged on Ensenada, Mexico for the finale of the SCORE World Desert Championship and with only 62% of the entries able to finish the grueling run through the desert, preparation and determination were key to making it to the end.

This isn’t just about one driver or two drivers, it’s about everyone that puts the will in,” said Steele. “The race started off wharky; we had a competitor come up from behind us and catch us on the pavement and then ram us in the dirt. We lost first gear about that time, so for us, it was about persevering until the end. We ran the entire thing with no first gear. They told me it would make it and they were right.
